Tours

See art differently.

Join guided experience, slow down with a single work of art, discover connection through music and storytelling, or plan a visit especially for your group.

Gallery tours are designed to make art welcoming, conversational, and engaging - no art experience required.

Guided Tours

45 - 60 Minutes - All Ages

Explore current exhibitions with one of our specially trained art guides. Each tour brings a different perspective and may incorporate storytelling, poetry, music, or conversation.

Red Dot Tours

15 minutes - All ages

A quick way to discover something new. On select First Fridays, look for a Gallery volunteer wearing an On-the-Spot badge and join a short conversation about a featured artwork.

Singing Tours

45 minutes - All Ages

Discover connections between art and music through a guided tour featuring songs inspired by works on view.

Slow View

30 minutes - Adults

Slow down and spend time with a single work of art. Guided by a trained facilitator, Slow View encourages close looking, thoughtful conversation and the chance to notice details you might otherwise miss.

Planning a visit for a group?

Groups & Organizations

Planning a visit with friends, colleagues, a club or community organization? We can create a guided experience tailored to your group, with the option to add a hands-on studio activity.

Schools & Community Groups

Bring your class or youth group to JNAAG for an engaging experience combining exhibition discovery with hands-on artmaking. Programs can be adapted for different ages and learning needs.

Visiting on your own?

You never need to take a tour to enjoy the Gallery. Individuals can explore exhibitions independently during regular hours.
