TNT Summer Camp
Ages 9 - 13 | FREE | Suggested donation of $10/day | Registration required
Bring your lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and wear clothes that can get messy.
Try New Things (TNT) is more than just a summer camp – it's a launching pad for creative exploration and personal growth for kids aged 9 - 13. Our program is specially designed to help young people develop artistic skills, forge meaningful friendships, and connect with their community in new and exciting ways.
Led by acclaimed local artist Lauren Davidson, TNT creates a safe, supportive environment where youth are encouraged to experiment, take creative risks, and discover hidden talents. Whether your child is an established artist or has never picked up a paintbrush, they'll find something to love at TNT.
What makes an art rebel? Someone who:
-
Enthusiastically embraces experimentation
-
Celebrates "mistakes" as creative opportunities
-
Redefines what creativity can be
During this special week, campers will discover their unique artistic voice through engaging games and hands-on activities including printmaking, pastels, and mixed media projects. We'll study influential artists from Ancient Egypt to modern-day Lambton County rebels, exploring how art movements have shaped creative expression throughout history.
Art Rebel Week is designed to help young artists trust their instincts and build confidence in their skills. Get ready to ignite bold artistic expression!
