JNAAG offers an enriching tour-hour art experience for your groups and classes. Our field trips combine a guided tour of our current exhibition(s) paired with a studio art-making activity designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the arts.

Fragments of a Story
For a limited time only!
After viewing our Boundaries exhibition, capture a moment with instant photography and pair it with your own six-word story. Learn essential photography techniques—including leading lines and the rule of thirds—while creating compelling visual stories that combine image and text.
This program offers engaging experiences that directly support curriculum requirements across multiple subject areas.
Teachers should be aware that Boundaries includes imagery of war, drug use and nudity. A preview of the exhibition can be booked with our Exhibition Education staff.

Make Your Mark: Art, Stories & Making Space
Inspired by John Williams’ mural & the Making Space exhibition

Discover stories and symbols within works by Indigenous artists from JNAAG’s permanent collection as you tour the Making Space exhibition. Get inspired to create your own stories and symbols while sketching in front of a vibrant mural by Ojibway artist John Williams. Then bring your ideas to life by creating your own unique artwork in our studio.

Exploring the Colour Wheel Through Landscapes
Inspired by the Group of Seven
Explore colour theory and create expressive landscapes inspired by Canada's iconic Group of Seven using watercolour pencils.
