JNAAG offers an enriching tour-hour art experience for your groups and classes. Our field trips combine a guided tour of our current exhibition(s) paired with a studio art-making activity designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the arts.

Imagining Futuristic Fashion

For a limited time only!

Step into the future and bring your imagination to life! Created to compliment Rajni Perera's Futures exhibition, this hands-on studio activity invites participants to design a figure that lives in the future. Using various materials, participants will explore fashion, technology, and culture to create a unique character. What will people wear in the worlds of tomorrow? How will they express themselves? This program will help participants tell a story of what the future might hold.

This program offers engaging experiences that directly support curriculum requirements across multiple subject areas.

Activity can be adapted for a wide range of age groups.

Cost: $2 per participant

Exploring the Colour Wheel Through Landscapes

Inspired by the Group of Seven

Explore colour theory and create expressive landscapes inspired by Canada's iconic Group of Seven using watercolour pencils.

Suggested Grade Level: Grade 7, Grade 9

Line and Pattern with Monoprint Gelli Plates

Discover how to make marks and patterns by using pressure to transfer colourful designs from one surface to another.

Microscopic Worlds: Mixed Media Collage

Zoom into the hidden beauty of the world we can only see through a microscope and recreate your own microscopic world by using different materials.
