Teens across Lambton County have been making creatively inspired photographs in response to this year’s Teen Photo Contest theme “Stories In Focus.”
This year’s theme invited young photographers to capture compelling narratives through their cameras. Featuring a juried selection of submissions, each photograph tells a unique story, from imaginative characters to evocative moments that blur fantasy and reality.
In this exhibit a juried selection of submissions will appear alongside Adad Hannah's Blackwater Ophelia from JNAAG’s permanent collection, serving as inspiration for the next generation of visual storytellers.
This exhibition is a community arts initiative with Lambton County Library.
Special thanks are extended to jurors Richard Beland, Sonya Blazek and Tressa Keyes-Oliver for their attention to detail and careful consideration of each work. The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery would like to congratulate those that have been selected for inclusion: Aya Al-Hussaini, Emma Anderson, Emma Andrew, Ireland Averill, Alexis Brown, Anna Brush, Azalynn Campbell, Kristie Carew, Livvy Clark, Diya Duggal, Raveena Duggal, Grey Frew, Eamon Hurst, Mercy Naus, Madilyn Reycraft, Katie Swick and Nancy Williams.
Congratulations to the following award winners for their exceptional submissions:
Category Winner: Overall – Diya Duggal
Category Winner: Comedy - Ellyott Halgrove
Category Winner: Fantasy - Nancy Williams
Category Winner: Drama – Livvy Clark
