A gallery’s permanent collection is a public legacy reflecting local, national, and sometimes international artistic developments, and is held in trust for the future. Through a series of four exhibitions we are honoured to pay tribute to the many individuals, artists, collectors, and corporations who have donated art to help build JNAAG’s outstanding permanent collection.
The first three exhibitions will explore the foundation of the collection and will include many of the community’s most familiar and beloved works. Additionally, this series will present a number of recently acquired works that have never been presented to the community until now, including work by Emily Carr, York Wilson, and A.J. Casson.
Join us for the public opening from 6:00 - 8:30pm on Thursday, March 23 for our new exhibition!
