Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery (JNAAG) is excited to announce its newest exhibition, Making Space: Recent Acquisitions opening First Friday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m.

This special exhibition highlights recent donations to the Gallery’s collection, including an inspiring range of work from Indigenous artists and collectors of Indigenous art. The pieces span different generations and media, each sharing unique stories and perspectives.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these new works into the Gallery’s collection,” said Sonya Blazek, Curator/Supervisor. “They represent important artistic voices and histories, and we’re honoured to share them with our community. Making Space is about celebrating these stories and ensuring they continue to be seen and heard for years to come.”

Learn more about Making Space and other exhibitions by visiting jnaag.ca.

Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition and discover how each piece helps shape the growing story of the Gallery’s collection. The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday until 8:30 p.m.
