Final chance to see second Re View exhibition

Email icon Back to Search

Sarnia, ON – The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery would like to remind the public their last chance to view the second of six exhibitions in the Re View series is quickly approaching. The exhibition, which opened February of this year will close April 15, 2023.

The current exhibition is a deliriously bright and immersive experience featuring the paintings of Canadian modernist painter, and founder of Painters Eleven, William Ronald. The exhibition includes an all-ages audio tour specially crafted to enhance the visitor experience and ignite playful curiosity in these abstract works.

The Gallery will be installing four additional exhibitions in the Re View series over the next year and a half. The exhibitions place the Gallery’s permanent collection in the spotlight and celebrate the power of art. Each exhibit will feature a range of artworks that will be accompanied by audio tours written and voiced by gallery volunteers.

Members of the gallery receive behind-the-scenes Re View exhibition content, including exclusive members audio tours. For information on how to become a gallery member, please contact Rayneata Dunn at 519-336-8127 ext. 3231 or rayneata.dunn@county-lambton.on.ca.

For information about upcoming Re View exhibitions, visit the 10-year anniversary page on the JNAAG website.

The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery’s hours of operation are Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
